Apply for accreditation

Application form - Live events

Before starting the application process, please read carefully the following criteria for the approval of your CME activity and the guidelines for organisers.

ACOE criteria for the approval of CME activities

  • Applications for CME approval must be received preferably between three and six months prior to the event
  • Organisers applying for the first time must provide a copy of their Statutes
  • A copy of the educational programme must be submitted with the application form
  • A copy of the participant’s evaluation form must accompany this application. For live events, you can either use the ACOE Standard Participant's Evaluation form or alternative forms. In this case, remember that the five first questions of the ACOE forms are compulsory.
  • The programme must contain details of speakers (including their current post), and a schedule of events
  • Credits are awarded at a rate of 1 credit point per hour of educational time not including any breaks. Organisers must only award credits for the number of hours that a participant has attended
  • Organisers must provide a certificate of attendance to the participants of live events, mentioning the appropriate number of ACOE credit points the participant has earned.
  • Organisers must provide ACOE with an Evaluation report of the accredited activity within following three months of the event.
  • Credits will not be awarded to events that are primarily promotional.

Once we will have received your application, the Accreditation Council of Oncology in Europe (ACOE) will start reviewing your activity. You will be informed of the outcome of their appraisal within two months following the submission of your application.

Please note that an administration fee will be charged to cover the operational costs.
